Community School of the Arts Presents Charlotte’s only free arts festival specifically for children will feature a wide array of hands-on arts projects led by Community School of the Arts teachers. Painting, weaving, sculpting and drawing, all with fun themes and exciting materials, will introduce children to the visual arts and send them home with personal masterpieces. The Festival also offers countless performing arts experiences, including the School’s students performing individually and as part of large group performances. Student bands will perform in folk and rock styles on the main stage, entertaining children and their families.
